Meet Miss K

Miss K is 11, energetic, smart, and a downright loving kid. She also has a passion for sharing the foods that she loves and wants to work in a bakery when she grows up. In addition to all of that, Miss K is autistic — which means that it takes her a little longer to learn some of the things that other kids understand naturally.

We created Miss K’s Gourmet Salts together to give her more opportunities to practice these important skills. Not only is she learning basic entrepreneurship (profit, expense, and saving), she is also learning important people skills (how to greet a customer, make a transaction, and thank someone for their business). The fact that she gets to do all of this while making a product she loves is an even bigger bonus!
